Stitchers Christmas Luncheon

On Thursday Nancy's stitcher group gathered at Barbara's house for their annual celebration of the Christmas season. Barbara's home was festively decorated, and each of the ladies brought food to share and gifts to exchange. Left to right above are Terri, Barbara, Jerry, JoAnn, and Nancy. Joan, who was in the hospital, was only there in spirit.

Now these ladies have been meeting weekly for a long time...around 40 years. I first included their Christmas picture in my blog in 2005. I thought it might be fun to give you an easy way to check that out. OK here are the links to the pictures taken over the last 14 years: 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 1014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and last year. I missed taking a picture several times. There's no accounting for that.

I went to the post office this morning to mail packages to our daughter Melissa. I decided to go before the post office opened in an effort to beat the lines. I arrived 15 minutes before the doors opened. I was third in line. After posting the packages at 10 minutes after the hour, I counted the people in line as I walked out of the door. 26. Going to the post office before it opened; best move today.
