A Stitcher Christmas

Every year, for the past...er...ah..."several" years, these ladies have celebrated the arrival of the Christmas season with a special dining event and an exchange of gifts. They call themselves the "Tuesday Stitchers" and they meet in one of their homes like clockwork every Tuesday to discuss recent events, latest ideas in cooking, sewing, and decorating, their children and grandchildren, and (If you ask me) most of all, their husbands.

This past Thursday they lunched at the Ledges Country Club where, after eating, they filled the table with gifts ranging from cookies to mixing bowls. I did get to taste Myra's cookies. In fact, I tasted more than one. I know that Nancy looks forward each week to the time spent with her best friends. Let's meet them. Seated from left to right are Barbara, Joan, and Jerry. Standing are Myra, Kay, JoAnn, Terri, and Nancy. I wish each and every one of these ladies a Merry Christmas and many more Stitcher gatherings.
