Every year, these ladies celebrate the arrival of the Christmas season with a special dining event and an exchange of gifts. They call themselves the "Tuesday Stitchers" and they meet in one of their homes like clockwork every Tuesday to discuss recent events, the latest ideas in cooking, sewing, and decorating, their children and grandchildren, and (If you ask me) most of all, some of their husbands. This past Wednesday they lunched at the Ledges Country Club where this picture was taken. I know that Nancy looks forward each week to the time spent with her best friends. They are, seated from left to right, Joan, JoAnn, Barbara, and Jerry. Standing are Kay, Terri, Myra, and Nancy. I wish each and every one of these ladies a Merry Christmas and a stitchin' New Year.
