Stitchers All

I first told the story of these ladies in 2005. Check it out. They still look the same to me. There have been a few changes. They meet on Thursday afternoons instead of Tuesday evenings, and a couple of their friends have moved away. But it's still the "Tuesday Stitchers" meeting once a week for gossip and fun and occasionaly stitching. They've been doing that, folks, for almost 40 years! 40 years?!

It was time this past Thursday for their annual Christmas celebration. They met at Barbara's home for lunch and gift exchange. I dropped by to take this picture during their luncheon, which consisted of ham, sweet potato casserole, green bean/bacon stacks, rolls, and cake or pie for dessert. Nancy made a Waldorf salad served in nice containers, which the ladies were glad to take home after eating the salad. Around the table, left to right, are JoAnn, Joan, Jerry, Nancy, Terri, and Barbara. Everyone had a great time.
