On April Fool's Day on our way home from the gym, Nancy and I paid a quick visit to the Huntsville Botanical Garden to see the dogwood tree in full bloom. There were so many people with the same idea that the parking lot was full, and that's very unusal for a school day. We took each other's picture under the tree, and I put them together this morning. If you move your mouse over the picture above, you'll see the entire tree. I told the interesting story behind the tree last year, but it's still in the archive if you want to read it. On Thursday a severe storm, including a tornado or two, rolled through the city, and I'm sure the rain and wind knocked most of the blooms off the tree. We're glad we didn't wait.
