Mark, Jenny, and the boys drove to our home on Wednesday and visited with us until Friday afternoon. So early on Thanksgiving Day, Nancy began preparing our dinner. We had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole and rolls (both made by Jenny), cranberry sauce, jello, pumpkin pie, and turkey cookies decorated by the boys earlier that day. We each gave thanks for the things that happily brought us to this table. The most memorable was John Michael's. He gave thanks for candles and fire! We're going to have to keep an eye on him.
