On Wednesday Nancy and I drove to Birmingham to see Jackson perform in his school play, which was a musical. Jackson surprised us with several solos. I asked Mark to share his video with me so I could share one of those moments with you. Put your mouse over the picture and click on the arrow. The words are just a little hard to understand.

"I'm a mean, lean, steel-eyed fox.
I'm no sweet little Goldilocks.
When I want a big belly meal,
I don't cook.
I just steal!
Yeah!"

Just 3 days later found Nancy and me on a flag football field in Mesa, Arizona, watching a game between the Dolphins and the Patriots. One play in the first series of downs for the Dolphins was a short pass and run where the receiver was our oldest grandson, Ian. While the Dolphins came out on the short end of the stick on this one, we enjoyed the game. And we're looking forward to our visit with Melissa, Treacey, Savannah, and Ian.

On the downside, the temperature went from a high in the 60s in Huntsville to nearly 100 here in Mesa. And lots of sun!
