After going 10 and 1 during the regular season and the playoffs, the Saints faced the only team to beat them this season for the flag football championship. At the half, the score was tied at 6 with each team scoring a touchdown but missing the extra point. When the second half began, the Saints and Ian turned it on.

Ian, our oldest grandson, caught two passes for touchdowns, scored one extra point, and topped off his second half blitz with an interception ending any chance of another score by the opposition. The Saints won the championship 26 to 12.
