Last Sunday, Nancy and I drove to Birmingham to visit Mark, Jenny, Jackson, and John Michael. Since Sunday was only 5 days after Jenny's birthday and 3 days before mine, we had a combined birthday celebration. The candles on the cake, which Nancy baked the day before, each represent 10 years of our combined ages. As you can see, the boys were quite anxious to blow out those candles and get started eating the cake. We all enjoyed the cake and the happy times. We returned home Monday morning ready to get started on our tax returns, which we finished and submitted yesterday.

Oh, yeah. The picture?!! If you know Nancy and me, you know we're always ready with the camera...ready for that "Kodak Moment". This day was certainly no exception. Nancy had her camera and posed us with the kids and the cake in Jenny's kitchen, and took the picture. Several hours later I discovered that the memory card was not in the camera! So for today's picture, I recreated the scene as best I could.
