A Slow Week...Sort of

I didn't take any pictures this week! No snow. No visitors. No birthdays. No trips, except shopping for Christmas. It still seemed that there wasn't enough time to do everything I wanted to do. The retiree's lament.

The good news this week was all medical. Tests showed that my heart and colon are functioning normally! I know that some of you are picturing both results being accomplished by one procedure. While the way to my heart is often through my stomach, in reality, you just cannot get there from that direction. Enough said about that except I don't think there's room to start another IV on my arms.

We did a lot of Christmas shopping over the last 10 days or so. And we've begun working on our Christmas letter for inclusion with our cards. We do tend to wait to the last minute. So do a lot of other people, however. The parking lots at the malls are full from morning till closing. Our plans are set for the holidays. Stay tuned to this channel.

Nancy just reviewed, as she usually does each week, what I wrote above and pointed out that I didn't say anything about the picture. While we were at Orange Beach, Alabama, in June, I noticed that each evening these tall, cumulus clouds would spring up over the ocean. I was impressed by their height and I started taking pictures. I thought this one was worth sharing.
