Our almost 17-year-old grandson Jackson spent the last couple of weeks in California enjoying the outdoor challenges offered by the JH Ranch. The climax of his adventure was climbing Mount Shasta. Jackson is last in line in the picture above. If you roll your mouse over the picture, you'll catch a glimpse of Jackson relaxing apparently near the top of the mountain. Jackson is due home today, so I'm looking forward to more details about his adventure.
At home Nancy, following the advice of her doctor, is beginning a new round of physical therapy. Her goal is to strengthen her legs and back and eventually be strong enough and confident enough for another trip to the beach.
We also got the first of three estimates on adding a walk-in shower to our bathroom. The most interesting thing is that everyone promises to complete the job is a day or two. I'll believe that only after I see it done.
Yesterday we joined with our friends Marty and Corinne for lunch at Logan's Roadhouse. Marty and I both retired from TBE. Always good to catch up on each other's comings and goings. And not a single word was uttered about TBE.
