Several months ago we talked ourselves into buying an air purifier for our bedroom. Our goal was to cut down on the pollen in the room and hence reduce coughing and sneezing while trying to sleep. We settled on the Honeywill HPA200 you see pictured above. Behind the black carbon filter is a HEPA filter that promises to do just what we wanted.

We run the purifier for about 16 hours each and every day provided we remember to turn it on. After a couple months, I started wondering if it was being effective. It's hard to tell by just walking into the room and breathing. To check it out I removed the front cover. If you scan your mouse over the picture you'll see what I found. I don't know about the pollen level in the room but lots of dust was captured by the carbon filter. So it is doing something.
