Thanksgiving Dinner

So, the plan was that Mark, Jenny, and the kids would come to Huntsville on Thanksgiving Day to join us for a traditional turkey meal in the early afternoon. The turkey was cooked. The potatoes were mashed. The gravy was hot. The dessert was cold. However, some bug in Margaret's tummy had other ideas, and they had to cancel. But yesterday she was back to her normal self, and the plans were back on; just a day late.

Everything was ready when they arrived, and, after a prayer of thanks given my Margaret, we enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal in the early afternoon on Black Friday.

We prepared BBQ pulled pork, including a special lettuce salad for Mark, for a late evening meal. Before eating I snapped this picture. I pushed the button on the camera and ran behind the table before the light reached the camera lens. On the left is John Michael (13), next to Margaret (9), Jackson (16), yours truly, Mark, Jenny, and Nancy. As you can see, we do have lots to be thankful for. I hope that everybody enjoyed their Thanksgiving as much as we did.
