Last Sunday was Mother's Day...or is it Mothers' Day. The day before (Saturday) we drove to Birmingham to celebrate with 2 of the 3 mothers in our immediate family. It was a busy day. John Michael, posing on the right above, had a tennis match, and Margaret had a piano recital, which we attended and enjoyed. In the evening, Nancy and I treated Jackson and Margaret to a pizza dinner at Donatos. John Michael was just home from his tennis match and was too tired to join us. But we did get the kids together for a picture before leaving to return to Huntsville. And, as we were walking out the door, Jenny and Mark gave Nancy a nice cactus plant, which is now in the center of our dining room table.

On Sunday Nancy received many lovely gifts and nice phone calls, she loves those, from the family. It was a good day.
