It's Sunday, 5 PM. Thursday through Saturday, I played in a local bridge tournament; all day, each day. When I got home last night, I was just too tired to post anything. I had promised that today would be for Nancy who spent the last 3 days "grounded" inside the house. We just got home from an afternoon of shopping.

Last Saturday was St. Patrick's Day. Last Saturday and Sunday a local tennis club hosted a Junior State Spring Clay Court Open championship. So Mark and Jenny brought the kids to Huntsville for a visit and to enter John Michael (12) in the tennis tournament. He lost his first match on Saturday but with 3 wins on Sunday, he had a very respectable finish. I managed to snap a picture in the middle of one of his serves.

Since we knew about the visit in advance, Nancy just had to buy a little green for each of the kids. Pictured above are Margaret (9) and Jackson (15). Either Jackson or John Michael left their hat here when they returned to Birmingham on Sunday, so I wore the hat to the bridge tournament on Thursday. I told everyone that I either was celebrating St. Patrick's WEEK or that I had a bad hair day.

On Wednesday Nancy visited her neurologist, and he was very happy with how well she's doing. That makes me happy.

As for the bridge tournament, in the 5 games I finished "in the money" 3 times and played 2 games I'd rather not talk about.
