Hydrangea Clippings

I think I've posted pictures of our hydrangea several times in the past. It really shows out about this time each year. Earlier this week we had a lot of yard work done including trimming the hydrangea under Nancy's watchful eye. About an hour after the workers got started, the doorbell rang. When I opened the door, I found Bruce (the supervisor) holding a bouquet that he thought "the Mrs." might like to have. We found a flower pot that was big enough under the kitchen sink, and I took this picture. Clearly the rest of the kitchen pales to shades of gray when compared to the hydrangea's colorful flowers. We get those purple colors by spreading coffee grounds around the base of the plant.

We've had our new cell phones for about 6 weeks and are quite happy with them, so it's time to do something with the old ones. I found an outfit called "Decluttr" online that will buy the phones. All I have to do is send the phones to their shop using their pre-paid UPS label. I'll be working that today. Also I noticed on their site that they buy all kinds of electronics including CDs and DVDs. If everything goes well with the phones, I may take them up on their offer to buy our many, now never used, CDs.
