Certainly not the best picture I've ever taken, but it is post-worthy. After 7 weeks and 2 days away from the house (including 2 weeks and 1 day in Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan, and then 4 weeks and 2 days in Healthsouth Rehab Hospital here in Huntsville) Nancy returned home this past Thursday. I installed a chair lift to help with the steps from the garage into the kitchen. I made her pose for this picture after riding up the stair lift before I would help her into her walker.

So, in 6 weeks or so she went from hardly being able to move at all to slowly getting around in a walker and eating with both hands. There's a long way to go, but you can bet she's going to be working hard for the best outcome.
