From the Archive

The only picture I took this week was a selfie of me with a spinner on my head put there by my granddaughter Margaret. I assure you, nobody wants to see that. So I found a Fall picture in the archive. This one was taken at Island Lake, Michigan, in October 2007 when we visited Nancy's sister Elaine and her husband Karl.

This week Nancy completed her third week of physical and occupational therapy at Huntsville Hospital. They apparently schedule these things in 3-week increments, and next week Nancy will begin her second 3-week increment. I guess they will schedule new increments as long as they see week-to-week improvements. And she is improving. This week she was able to get into bed entirely by herself. In case you're wondering, the hard part is picking your feet up off the floor and swinging them onto the bed. If you're one of the many people sending thoughts and prayers her way, I want you to know, they're working and inspiring her to continue. Thanks.
