Instrument of Torture?

Not really. It just looks like one, and according to Nancy, feels like one when she first puts it on. Nancy has not been able to make a fist with her right hand, so yesterday the therapist offered this glove, which she's to wear for 15 minutes 3 times a day, to help with the fine motor skills on her right hand. It seems to be working according to Nancy.

It's been exactly 2 months since Nancy fell while visiting her sister Elaine in Michigan. On that day, in the ER, she could only move her head and her left arm. Today she gets around pretty well inside the house using a walker. She can use both hands to eat albeit her left hand is still stronger. She can take care of her hair and wash her face and brush her teeth by herself. She can even dress herself with just a little help from me. There's still a long way to go, but I'm thinking that's pretty great considering what ground zero looked like 2 months ago.
