We celebrated Thanksgiving at home in Huntsville this year. Mark, Jenny, and the kids drove in from Birmingham on Wednesday with the turkey and all the trimmings. Our daughter Melissa joined the festivities with a phone call from Arizona.

On Thursday I helped Jenny in the kitchen while Margaret helped in the dining room. She set the table, designed the center piece, and decorated the tree with her turkey drawings. When everybody had their food and were seated, I took a picture. John Michael and Jackson, who spent much of their time playing badminton in the back yard, are on the left. Good food and great company made for an enjoyable day.

Just before everyone started loading their plates with food and right after Margaret sang a blessing, our daughter-in-law Jenny said a moving prayer of thanksgiving especially thanking God for the Nancy's continued improvement. I couldn't agree more.
