Nancy and I returned home on Thursday after spending a week in Mesa, Arizona, visiting our daughter Melissa and our grandchildren Savannah and Ian. The main reason we chose this particular week to fly to Arizona was to attend Ian's Desert Ridge High School graduation ceremony on the 23rd of this month. We did and he did. Ian plans to begin his studies in mechanical engineering at Arizona State in the Fall.

Nancy spent a year planning and a couple of months making a T-shirt quilt for Ian. She presented that to Ian at his graduation dinner party last Sunday. Yes, I have a picture, but I think I'll save it for next week or maybe the week after. I have lots of pictures from our trip. The most important one is right here. I hope it shows how proud we are of Ian and his accomplishments so far. We wish him the best success in his future endeavors.
