Nancy reported to the Madison County Courthouse for jury duty on the first of May, two Mondays ago. She was immediately picked to serve on the jury for a capital murder trial, which began on the following Wednesday. It ended this past Monday, the jury finding the defendant guilty as charged. On Tuesday she decided that a walk in the Huntsville Botanical Garden would be something that would help her lighten up. We enjoyed a nice long walk and a visit to the butterfly house. Here she is trying to get a butterfly onto her hand.

This past Sunday was Mother's Day, and Nancy was treated to flowers and gifts from the kids but especially enjoyed the phone calls from everyone. All in all, an interesting couple of weeks for her.
