Nancy's Green Thumb

I believe one can stand on our patio and see the tomato plants growing! Every morning we walk outside and wonder at the size of those bushes. The plant to Nancy's right produces what I call "BLT" tomatoes; large so a single slice or two works really well in a BLT sandwich. The other plant is a Juliet; small, salad tomatoes. Even the pepper plants between the tomato plants are doing pretty well.

Earlier this week we cleaned and repainted the patio table and chairs. I thought, at first, that was going to require maximum use of a wire brush, but it turned out that there was very little rust. So a good hosing down was all that was necessary. About an hour later including a trip to Lowe's for the spray paint, we had "like new" patio furniture.
