Our House
A couple weeks ago, when our crepe myrtle came into full bloom, Nancy asked me to run outside and take a picture. We planted it in '96. A year or two later it looked dead with just one small branch sticking about 6 inches out of the ground. I wanted to take it out, but Nancy said to give it another little while. Now look at it.
This past week the TV stations were calling for extreme temperatures all across the southern part of the country. They weren't kidding. Luckily, our A/C is keeping the house very comfortable. I'm not sure about the accuracy of our outdoor thermometer. While our reading was 105, the official temp for Huntsville barely got over 100. That was hot enough regardless.
