This was an interesting week for our grandson Ian. As his senior year in high school approaches, he's been thinking about college. On Tuesday he and his mom drove to Flagstaff to visit Northern Arizona University. It was 68 when they arrived, and when I asked Ian about the trip, his first comment was "the weather was very nice". But, more importantly, he pointed out that they have good science and engineering programs.

Yesterday Ian dressed up for his senior picture, and Melissa snapped this shot as he was leaving for the school. We think he looks pretty darn good in his new suit.

Speaking of Melissa, her birthday is in 2 days. Yep. Born on the 4th of July. I'm hoping that she'll send me a picture of her celebration so that I can post it here next week.
