School began last week for Ian and this week for Jackson, John Michael, and Margaret. Ian is starting his senior year at Dessert Ridge High School in Mesa, Arizona. My guess is he has 2 things uppermost on his mind; football and college applications. I'm not sure about the order. Nancy and I are looking forward to catching one of his games later in the season. Our daughter Melissa took this picture as Ian headed off to school.

In Birmingham school began on Thursday, and Jenny snapped this picture as her 3 prepared to begin their studies. Jackson is starting 8th grade. John Michael is a fifth grader. And Margaret is in 2nd grade. I'm not sure what's on their minds. Perhaps looking forward to seeing all their friends.

We wish all our grandchildren, including Savannah who is about to begin her 3rd year at the University of Arizona, the best for their time in school. We are indeed proud of them and their continued efforts to excel.
