On Wednesday, late in the day, we noticed that the light coming through the windows had a very orange tint. It stormed most of the day, and after the rain, a fog settled in over the nearby mountains. Apparently the setting sun, peaking in through the fog, was causing everything to have an orange hue. I walked out front and, looking east, took this picture. The picture looks a little bit "orangie" but it was much more pronounced to our eyes.

Last night Melissa let us know that our grandson Ian's football team won a semi-final game and will be playing for the Arizona state championship next Saturday. She says Ian is a happy camper. She took this picture right after the game. We wish him luck.
