Around noon on Thursday it started to snow, so we ran outside and took a picture because it doesn't last all that long. And it didn't. It stopped 10 minutes later and was entirely melted within the hour. The really funny thing was the news line running across the bottom of the TV screen. We were instructed to go online to the local TV station's web page to see a list of schools that were closing early! Now I will say this. Friday morning found a cold, dense fog; iced over bridges; and a couple of multi-car pile-ups on the parkway. Winter in Alabama. That's what I'm talking about.
