For the last two Saturdays I posted comments from our week long stay with our grandkids in Birmingham. I showed Jackson challenging me to a game of chess followed by John Michael giving me fits at ping pong. This week we have the third member of the family, Margaret (5). Shortly after we arrived, Margaret took Nancy on a tour of the house showing grandma all their Halloween decorations. The last stop was outside the front door where Nancy took this picture.

Halloween was last night. We had exactly 4 youngsters ring our doorbell. The first two were from just down the street. The last two were from about 3 miles away. I asked where they lived. Mom or dad waited in the car. I'm not sure what the goal was, but if getting the most sugar was it, they won hands down. They may have been "trick or treating" the entire southeast part of Huntsville. A quixotic like quest for candy. I don't understand.
