Graduation Day

Melissa, Nancy, and I got up this morning at 2:30 AM (Arizona time). Melissa drove us to the airport, and we boarded our return flight to Huntsville at 5:00 AM. We touched down in Huntsville at noon (Alabama time). We had a wonderful time in Mesa, but it's always good to be back home.

We were in Mesa for our oldest grandchild's high school graduation held last Wednesday in the Wells Fargo Arena on Arizona State's campus. Students, family members, and friends practically filled the arena. It was, to say the least, very lively. Savannah plans to begin studies at the University of Arizona in Tucson in the Fall. She did quite nicely in high school, and because of that was awarded an equally nice scholarship. She set the bar pretty high for the rest of our grandkids to follow. We wish Savannah the best of luck in her college career.

[Note: It's now Memorial Day. Problems at the hosting site. Couldn't connect to upload my page. My apologies to all of you who regularly check in on Saturday or Sunday. It looks like they've made their repairs and are up and running again.]
