It's Sunday. Yesterday we went to church as usual at 5:00 PM and returned home shortly after 6. As we turned onto our street, I said to Nancy, "There's someone on our front porch." Her first thought was a salesman of some sort. She was completely surprised to find Mark, Jenny, Jackson, John Michael, and Margaret waiving and wishing her a Happy Mother's Day as we drove into our driveway. And they brought dinner too!

Jenny sent me a text Friday while I was playing bridge. I called and we discussed her plan to surprise Nancy with a Mother's Day visit. It worked out very well. Right around bedtime for the kids, I gathered everyone for a picture. There's one happy grandma!
