Spending Time with Jackson

Summer officially started last Saturday, but we were in Pennsylvania hard at work getting Nancy's Aunt Nina's house ready to sell. I reported in April that Aunt Nina died following surgery in Pittsburgh. We left our home on the 7th and returned on the 26th. We did a bang-up job cleaning and clearing, but not without help. Karl, Elaine, Joe, and Dennis each pitched in with more than words of encouragement! We're home now, but I think I left part of my aching back somewhere up north.

Mark drove up from Birmingham yesterday with Jenny and the kids. He's planning to leave this afternoon, but Jackson (11) gets to stay behind and spend some extra days with us. It's become a bit of a tradition; each grandkid gets to spend a few days in the summer with us all by him or her self. And we get some one-on-one time with each of our grand-children. Fun for everyone, I think. First order of business, take a selfie! Squinty from the sun but off to a happy start. Nancy thinks I should leave "selfies" to the younger crew.
