On Sunday Nancy and I drove to Birmingham for a short visit with Mark, Jenny, and the kids. Our 3 grandchildren were all getting ready to go to camp; the boys to Camp Winataska and Margaret to "Camp Grandma and Paw Paw". Jackson spent a short time with us a couple weeks ago, and we'll get John Michael in a another week or so, but this week belonged to Margaret. We drove back to Huntsville with her in the back seat as you can see in the picture. We were only a few miles out of Birmingham when she asked the standard kid's question; "Are we there yet?" However, she did enjoy her three days at camp; helping bake a blueberry pie, playing in her tent, and touring the Botanical Gardens with Grandma. Naturally, she and Grandma did a little shopping. And she had a great time with Grandma's doll collection. She woke up each day well before we did, so she would sit in the family room, no TV or anything, until we got up. That was sweet! We met Jenny at Locust Fork on Wednesday to return Margaret to her parents.
