Mark, Jenny, and the grandkids visited our home on the weekend before Christmas. Jackson brought his guitar. He's been taking lessons since the beginning of the school year and was happy to play several Christmas carols for the family. I did my best to keep up. Margaret danced and pranced about while we played. On Saturday afternoon, we took the kids to the movies. Jackson and I saw "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" in 3D IMAX. Later, everyone made and decorated a bunch of Christmas cookies. It was a merry time for all.
