Watercolor Beach

Last Saturday I posted a Thanksgiving Dinner picture from Watercolor Beach in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Saturday evening we all found our way to that beach where a nice lady agreed to take our picture. On the left above is John Michael (9), followed by Mark holding Margaret (5), Jenny, Jackson (12), me, and Nancy. After the picture, we returned to the condo for supper, the Iron Bowl, and sleep. We returned to Birmingham and Huntsville on Sunday.

There was a pleasant surprise waiting for us when we walked into the house. Nancy's Christmas cactus, which she kept outside and ignored the entire year, had bloomed. Check out the picture. That means it's time to start getting ready for Christmas.

Yesterday I tried to call my Uncle Tom. The phone company told me that his phone was no longer in service, so I looked him up on the internet. That's how I found out that the last surviving family member from my mom and dad's generation had passed away. He was 95. If you're interested in knowing more about my Uncle Thomas R. Yanosky, visit this web site.
