Last week I mentioned that we were driving to Birmingham to celebrate our grandson Jackson's birthday. We did just that last Sunday and snapped this picture for the record. Jackson is starting middle school, 6th grade, this year, and we are proud to report that he does very well with his school work. He reads a lot and is on the Birmingham swim team and his school's robotics team. Jackson is apparently close to passing up his grandmother in height. He is already taller than his Mom. Just remembered...that does happen some-where in middle school. I suspect he'll be passing me up in the next several years.
