Another milestone we missed while we were in Pennsylvania was Jackson's birthday. On August 22nd he turned 11 and was given a guitar as a birthday present from his parents. Jenny took this picture and sent it to us in PA. As you can see, he's quite happy with his present. But now he has to take lessons!

Yesterday Mark, Jenny, and the kids drove to Huntsville to visit us, and last night we had a little birthday party for Jackson. With the help of his brother and sister, he was able to blow out all 11 candles on his birthday cookie.

Tomorrow would have been Nancy's Mom's 95th birthday. Happy Birthday, Mom.
