Thursday afternoon Jenny drove away after delivering the kids to our house to begin their vacation week in Huntsville. Everybody was on the front porch to wave goodbye. Almost everybody. Nancy was in the front yard taking the picture, and I found it much cooler to stand just inside the storm door. That's Margaret (4), John Michael (8), and Jackson (10) sincerely wishing their Mom a safe drive back to Birmingham.

Already we've played games, blown bubbles, drawn funny characters, strummed the guitar, played catch, kicked soccer balls, and watched a movie at the local theater. Not to mention turning the house upside down. But it's going to be a good week. Yes, it's going to be a good week! More next Saturday.
