We took another round of pictures in front of our house just before hopping into the car and heading off to Birmingham with our granddaughter Savannah last Friday. Savannah is from Arizona where the predominant colors are various shades of brown. After a month of rain and plenty of sunshine, Alabama is pretty much all green, and Savannah commented on all the "green" several times while visiting us last week. So here's a picture of Savannah and me with a little green from the front of our house and lots of green from the forest behind our house.

Let's not forget. Thursday was Savannah's 17th birthday. We did celebrate several times while she was in Alabama, but one more birthday wish can't hurt. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Savannah from Grandma and Grandpa.
