Savannah
On Friday Nancy and I drove to the airport in Birmingham to meet our granddaughter Savannah who was flying in from Arizona for a 1-week visit. (Note: Southwest Airline does not fly into Huntsville.) We hugged her and welcomed her to Alabama, picked up her luggage, and drove across town to our son's home for an overnight stay. Savannah turns 17 in 12 days, so we celebrated her birthday Saturday evening while we were still in Birmingham. Pictured before blowing out the candles are John Michael (8), Savannah, Margaret (4), and Jackson (10). It's been about 2-1/2 years since the cousins were together in the same room. We returned to Huntsville Saturday evening.
