Each year, around the middle of December, the "Tuesday" Stitchers come together for a Christmas celebration usually involving lots of good food and gifts. This past December Nancy planned to host the event. However, if you regularly follow this blog, you know that Nancy had the flu followed by pneumonia last month, and the Stitchers had to cancel.
All of the ladies showed up at their regular weekly get-together this past Thursday (The "Tuesday" Stitchers have now become the "Thursday" Stitchers.), and they took this group picture to make up for not getting their annual photo at the Christmas luncheon. Seated in front are JoAnn and Barbara, left to right. In the back row, beginning on the left, are Nancy, Joan, Terri, Jerry, and Myra. I'm sure they all missed their annual Christmas party. They've been celebrating in that fashion since before Lincoln Reagan was President.
And finally, this past week we had 2 birthdays in the family. My sister Barbara (the 24th) and our grandson Ian (14 on the 25th) celebrated their special days. So we wish both a very, very HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
