Last week I told you about our Thanksgiving adventure in Pennsylvania. We visited Nancy's Aunt Nina and enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal with her that included Nancy's sister Elaine and her husband Karl from Michigan and Nancy's cousin John who lives in nearby Portage. I wrote last week about the ice storm that struck shortly after everybody arrived. Here's another picture from Thanksgiving day.
We had awakened Thursday morning to bright sunshine and cold temperatures, 17 degrees. The combination of the sun and the ice on the trees proved too much for Nancy, who likes to take a lot of pictures. Afraid she might miss something, she threw on a coat and boots over her PJs and headed outside. While she was tramping through the snow looking for better angles, I snapped this picture. She did come up with a picture that I think will find its way into our Christmas card this year.
