Jenny sent us this nice picture of the grandkids visiting Santa. I'm not sure how Jackson (11) is feeling about the guy with the white beard, in the red suit, with a funny hat, but John Michael (8) and Margaret (4) probably had plenty of requests. Nevertheless, this picture is almost a requirement for this time of the year.

We spent the week at home preparing for Christmas. We put up and decorated the tree and did some modest decorating on the front porch. And we did a little shopping. Nancy has been feverishly wrapping gifts, cleaning the house, and preparing for her sewing group luncheon next Thursday. Now it's time to work on Christmas cards. Looking forward to a nice Christmas season.
