Back on my April 21st posting, I reported that Nancy's Mom had fallen and broken her hip on March 29. Since that date, this 93-year-old lady has had a particularly tough time trying to get back on her feet. After a 3-week stay in a local Health South Rehab hospital for physical therapy, she moved into a skilled nursing facility for continued care. This move triggered an avalanche of paperwork, phone calls, and faxes to gather the required material for admission. There weren't a lot of smiles while working on this during this last week, but I managed to catch one from Nancy for this picture...maybe because she sees the light at the end of the tunnel.
