Spring Sprung

We moved to Alabama from Pennsylvania (via Kansas) in the summer of 1972. I remember being awed by flowers blooming that following February. A winter with no snow and flowers in February! How different was that? Everybody's talking this year about the early spring, but it just seems back to normal for me. Pictured above are flowers from around our yard and the Dogwood tree across the fence in our back yard. There are pansies everywhere, and the azaleas are in full bloom. And the knockout roses are coming to life.

Nancy is recovering nicely from her knee surgery. She's almost walking normally, but not her usual pace. More PT is scheduled for this week.
