A couple weeks ago Nancy hurt her right knee. She doesn't know how it happened; it just began to hurt while driving. After a visit to the knee doctor and an MRI a week or so later, orthopedic surgery to repair a cartilage tear was scheduled for this past Wednesday. Until yesterday afternoon, after her first physical therapy session, Nancy got around using a walker. She is now recovered enough to go without the walker. That's why she has a smile for my picture; moments later she put the walker away.

I want to remember my Mother who would have been 100 today!
