Last Sunday, in addition to losing an hour of sleep due to the change to daylight savings time, Nancy and I got out of bed early enough to dress, eat a light breakfast, and drive to Birmingham in time to join Mark, Jenny, and the kids for a birthday celebration luncheon at the local country club. Jenny's birthday is a mere 8 days earlier than mine, so they get celebrated together. That always seems to work out well.

When we arrived, the boys couldn't wait to show us the birthday greeting they made out of lego's on the dining room table. I took a picture. After lunch, we returned to Mark's house for the traditional candles and cake. In this case a bundt cake. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jenny and me.
