Alabama started its school year last Monday, and Jackson (4th grade) and John Michael (1st grade) were ready to get started. Their sister, three-year-old Margaret, will not start her pre-school activities until after Labor Day.

In addition to starting school, Wednesday was Jackson's 10th birthday. We were not able to join Jackson and the family for his celebration, but we plan on being in Birmingham later today for our own party. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Jackson.
