93 Years Young

It's Monday, and I'm a couple days late posting this page. Saturday we stayed at a Quality Inn on our way back from Pennsylvania, and their wireless was down. It had something to do with their quality(!) control person. Anyway, I'm just now ready to post this page.

While we were in Pennsylvania, we attended Nancy's 50th high school reunion (See last week's posting in the Archive.), met up with Nancy's sister Elaine and her husband Karl (Karl was also in town for the reunion.), and celebrated their Mother's birthday. We began the celebration last Tuesday when Nancy, Elaine, and their Aunt Nina took Mom to Bell Mansion Tea House for a ladies lunch. They donned old-fashioned hats and had a relaxing lunch/tea party. On Thursday Nancy, Nina, and I joined Mom for dinner and cake.

This picture was taken on Labor day. Karl, Nina, Mom, Elaine, Nancy and I posed while one of the attendants took this picture with Nancy's camera.

On Saturday we packed up and and headed for home. It rained for 5 consecutive days in Pennsylvania. It never stopped! I'm sure you heard about all the flooding in the eastern part of the state. It stopped the day we left, and we had great weather for our return to Alabama. It just might be us causing the crappy weather in Pennsylvania.
