Melissa, Treacey, Ian, and Savannah came to Huntsville for Christmas on a train. They left Mesa, Arizona, early in the morning on December 23rd. They slept in a couple of sleeper cars that night and arrived in New Orleans late the following day. After a night in a New Orleans hotel, they boarded a second train Christmas morning for the remainder of the trip into Birmingham where we met them.

After a nice 5-day visit, Nancy and I drove them to the Birmingham train station for their return trip. Nancy took this picture on the platform as the train was arriving.
